Hi! My name is Missy. I was born and raised in Minnesota. I currently live in Southern, Minnesota with my other half, of 17 yrs. and our 2 children (Tony 16 yrs., Tyler 13 yrs. old).

I am a self tought artist. I started sculpting July 2005. I specialize in making realistic OOAK (one of a kind) monkey dolls, Called "Dream Monkeys". From time to time, I like to create other types of OOAKS. I use my own imagination in all my creations. I like to get every detail possible in my art work. My work is all original and 100% handmade without the use molds. It takes several hours/days to complete my creations.

All my life I have loved to draw, paint, bead work, leather work, pottery and many other arts/crafts.

My biological father is Ojibwe. He is a band member of the Redlake tribe,located in Redlake, Minnesota. I come from a family of artists/crafters, including my mothers side. My father is a wonderful/talented wood carver and makes beautiful tables. His mother (my grandmother) was also a wonderful artist. She used to draw/paint wonderful portraits. She past away when I was 11 yrs. old. I never got to meet her. I wish I could of met her, she sounds like a wonderful and talented lady! My uncle (my dad's brother) Mickey is a wood carver. He also make beautiful bone chockers and walking sticks. Which he will be selling on ebay soon. He will also have a website coming in the near future. I will add it to my links page just as soon as it is up and running..

I have always dreamed of having a monkey every since I was a small child. After doing lots of research and decided that a monkey was something that I definately wanted. I now am owned by 4 capuchin monkey's. The passion and love for primates is what got me into sculpting "Dream Monkey's".
